Shane O Connor

(web development intern)

Shane is totally excited to be graduating from college in a year and is hoping to gain some real world experience by interning at TKG. When Shane was searching for an internship opportunity he looked at every web design company in the Akron/Canton area and checked out their Web sites. We were his number one pick, because he thought we had the best looking site.

So far, Shane is working on sites, updating html templates and css, following every order, and being trained by Colin Brimfield. Shane says that he learned more than he thought possible in just his first week of working for us, and he also likes that our work environment is very welcoming.

When not at work, Shane’s life revolves around:

• Family and friends
• Videogames (Halo, Warcraft III, DDR, Guitar Hero)
• Loves to watch movies of any genre
• Sports (basketball, golf, working out)

Little Known Facts:

• Shane would rather eat with chopsticks than silverware
• Loves eating new and weird things (scorpion, live shrimp, pig brain)
• He needs action or sound around him to think and do work well

Where Shane gained his experience and knowledge:

Shane graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 2006 with an Associate’s in Interactive Media and Design. Then, he transferred to Harding University, in Searcy, Arkansas, in the fall of 2006 to finish up his Bachelor’s. Other experience includes updating the Flash content on Harding University’s Web site, and he won a design competition, creating a t-shirt logo, for a coffee house near the university.
