Geoff Karcher Named to YSTARK! Twenty Under 40
2008-05-06TKG is just bursting with great news these days! The latest? The Canton Chamber of Commerce's YSTARK! program has named Geoff Karcher to its inaugural class of "Twenty Under 40" professionals.
We think he's a perfect fit, and we're thrilled that the Chamber agrees!
The YSTARK! program is dedicated to bringing Stark County's young professionals together through networking, social and cultural events, community involvement and professional development, with the goal of attracting and retaining young professionals in the area.
Geoff has been a longtime proponent that there are great opportunities for young people in Stark County, despite the negative press this area sometimes receives. In fact, in 2007 TKG started the TKG Institute, a program that provides free training to help prepare college students and adults for tech-sector careers, and ideally, keep them in the area.
Be sure to join YSTARK!, The Repository, and the inaugural class on June 11, 2008, at 2nd April Galerie and Studios downtown. Additional information is available through the Canton Chamber, including the ability to sign up for YSTARK! email updates.
